Mission 212 Foundation is honored to have served the Newhouse family—Nick, Heather, and their young daughter Claire—during their cancer journey. As the first family to apply for support, they initially hesitated to share their story but have since embraced their faith and grown in remarkable ways. We provided school supplies for Claire, a new laptop for Nick when he could no longer work, and three months of meal deliveries during the holiday season. Later, we helped send them on a family trip to Branson, coordinating Silver Dollar City tickets and a memorable BBQ dinner to celebrate Nick’s journey to becoming Catholic.
The Newhouse family has given back to Mission 212 in incredible ways, from speaking at events to volunteering and even helping with graphic design work. Their faith has deepened through their experiences, with Nick’s conversion to Catholicism serving as a powerful witness to Claire of finding beauty and hope in suffering. We are grateful for the privilege of walking alongside the Newhouse’s and inspired by their journey of faith and resilience.
