Brewster family

Mission 212 Foundation was honored to serve the Brewster family, Laira, Brinks, and their four children, William, Raylan, Demelza, and Athena, during a challenging season filled with uncertainty, faith, and perseverance.

Brinks is a devoted husband and father who supports his family and their farm as a self-employed farrier. After his cancer diagnosis, he was unable to work due to treatment side effects, leaving Laira to care for their four young children while also managing their 50+ acre farm and 200 animals. As a self-employed family, the loss of income and growing medical expenses created a significant burden.

Even in the midst of hardship, the Brewster family has continued to lean on their faith and trust in God’s provision. Their positivity, gratitude, and willingness to accept support from their community have been an incredible example of strength.

Mission 212 was honored to feature the Brewster family at our first annual Fireworks for Fathers celebration in July 2026. Through the generosity of our supporters, we were able to provide financial assistance toward medical bills, essential expenses, and support as Brinks begins the transition back to work. We were also blessed to help create meaningful family memories through a trip to Colorado where they could unplug, spend time together, and enjoy the things they love.

It is our privilege to walk alongside families like the Brewsters, offering hope, encouragement, and support during some of life’s most difficult seasons. We are incredibly thankful they allowed Mission 212 to be part of their story.
