families served
malcolm family
Mission 212 Foundation was honored to support the Malcolm family—Jed, Amanda, Chase, Jaxon, Piper, and Paige—as they faced the heartbreaking reality of Jed’s stage 4 glioblastoma diagnosis. With four young children and the challenges of lost income, our hope was to bring light, encouragement, and tangible support during this overwhelming season.
The Malcolms were chosen as our Ruck Family during the Family of the Year event, allowing the Mission 212 community to rally together in a powerful way. One of the special moments for their family came when their home was decorated with Christmas lights, bringing joy and a sense of celebration during the holidays. Beyond that, the generosity of donors and partners helped cover daily expenses, medical bills, and supplemented Jed’s income during months he was unable to work. The family was also able to create meaningful memories together—traveling to Dauphin Island, enjoying a trip to Colorado, spending summer days at Fugitive Beach, and even planning a special trip to Las Vegas to celebrate with friends. These moments of joy and togetherness have been priceless for their family during such a difficult time.
It has been our privilege to walk alongside the Malcolms, helping to create moments of joy while also meeting practical needs. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve this incredible family and will continue to stand with them as they face the road ahead with strength, faith, and love.
